Derek is back for a limited-time only: through 2007, little engineers can add Derek to their collection before he heads back to the sheds.
Derek is a kind and helpful engine. He was able to convince Bill and Ben, after helping them at the Brendham Docks, that not all diesels cause trouble. He can be seen in the "Double Teething Troubles" story.
Derek is a classic character, and was in the Thomas Wooden Railway line from 2001 through 2002.
